Phillip Snider
Name and pronouns? Where are you from/currently residing?
My name is Phillip Snider (He/Him/His) and I am from Vincennes, Indiana.
What drew you to theatre?
The main thing that drew me to theatre, and live performance in general, was knowing how the special effects worked. Being behind the curtain during a show and helping make the magic happen for an audience is a feeling like no other.
What drew you to National Players?
I was drawn to National Players because it fits many of my personal needs from a work environment. I thrive best when I can form strong relationships with my coworkers. Also, touring is something I’ve been interested in since starting my theatre journey. Travelling across the country with 9 other people checks both those boxes and more!
What are you most looking forward to on the tour?
The thing I’m looking forward to the most on the tour is probably experiencing working in many different environments. I look forward to exploring new cities and discovering places that fit my needs for future work/living environments.
What do you hope to do after the tour?
After we finish Tour 72, depending on what I discover during the tour, I’d like to work on another tour and continue travelling. But I am open to almost any opportunities that come my way.
What’s something you want people to know about you?
Some fun facts about me: I can yo-yo; I’m passionate about board games, card games, and tabletop games; I spend a lot of time playing video games; and I play the trumpet.
