Mitchell Hébert (Herr Schultz) was last seen at Olney Theatre Center as Shrewsbury/Melville in Mary Stuart. Mitchell has appeared at OTC as Hook in Peter Pan, Salieri in Amadeus, and Dysart in Equus. Also at OTC, he directed Julius Caesar for The National Players and Rabbit Hole on the New Mainstage. At Signature Theatre, he appeared as Herbie in Gypsy, Jules in Sunday in the Park with George, and Dindon in La Cage aux Folles. Mitchell has worked as an actor and a director at many of the area’s theatres including Ford’s, Mosaic Theatre, Woolly Mammoth, Rep Stage, Everyman, The Shakespeare Theatre, Theatre J, and Round House. He has received two Helen Hayes Awards: one for acting, one for directing, along with several nominations. On TV, he has appeared in House of Cards, Killing Kennedy, and Homicide. He is on the faculty of The School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at the University of Maryland.

Katie Spelman (Choreographer) is a choreographer based in New York City. Recent credits include The Who’s Tommy (Denver Center), Oklahoma! (Goodspeed; Connecticut Critics Nomination for Best Choreography) and Cabaret (Paramount Theater; Jeff Nomination for Best Musical). She has also collaborated with Lookingglass Theatre Company, Court Theatre, The Hypocrites, Asolo Repertory, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Timeline Theatre, Victory Gardens, Sideshow Theatre Company, The New Colony, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Northwestern University, and The Inconvenience. Broadway Associate: Moulin Rouge, Once, American Psycho, and Amelie; Katie was also the associate choreographer on Rent Live! on Fox, and the Associate Director of Close to You in London (Chocolate Factory, West End).  She was one of five choreographers awarded the SDCF Agnes de Mille Commission in 2019, and her work simone was presented in March in NYC. Christopher Youstra (Music Director/Associate Artistic Director) As the past resident music director, Mr. Youstra has music directed and conducted over 40 musicals at Olney Theatre Center, including Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, Once, On the Town, In the Heights, My Fair Lady, Sweeney Todd, Evita, Carmen: An Afro-Cuban Jazz Musical, Carousel, Godspell, How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and has also music directed at many of the other local theaters including Ford’s Theatre: Ragtime; Studio Theatre 2nd Stage: Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson, Jerry Springer: The Opera, Passing Strange; Studio Theatre: Adding Machine: A Musical; Round House Theatre: Once on This Island, A Murder A Mystery A Marriage, The Summer of ‘42, and The World Goes ‘Round; Toby’s Dinner Theatre: Les Misérables, The Color Purple, Titanic, Beauty and the Beast; Imagination Stage; The Kennedy Center Theatre for Young Audiences; Arena Stage; Burn Brae Dinner Theatre; Montgomery College; American University; Musical Theatre Center; Signature Theatre; and Columbia Center for the Theatrical Arts. Colin K Bills (Lighting Designer) returns to Olney Theatre Center where he has previously designed Once, Mary Stuart, OIL, Guys & Dolls, Marjorie Prime and Colossal, among others.  He is a Company Member at Woolly Mammoth where he is an active member of their Equity, Diversity and Inclusion working group and has designed over fifty productions, including An Octoroon, Gloria, Clybourne Park and The Convert.  As a Conspirator with the devising company dog & pony dc, he collaborated in the writing, direction and design of A Killing Game and Beertown. Kendra Rai (Costume Designer) is pleased to be back at Olney Theatre Center, where she designed Elf the Musical, Proof, Hay Fever and The King and I. Kendra received the Helen Hayes award for Outstanding Costume Design in 2012, 2015, and 2018; and in addition has been a nominee for the award nine times. Kendra’s work has been seen at Signature Theater, Round House Theater, Adventure Theater MTC, Opera Lafayette, Synetic Theater, Constellation Theater, New Victory Theater, Theater J, and Imagination Stage. Kendra is a Princess Grace Honorarium recipient, and holds an MFA from Pennsylvania State University, and is currently teaching at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and has held teaching posts at Howard University, University of Pittsburgh and Gallaudet University.
