Amanda Castro (Kathy) Recently closing 42nd Street in the role of Lorraine at the Ordway Theatre, she is a multidisciplinary artist with her artistry rooted in rhythm with her soul in tap. Born in Brooklyn and raised in New Haven, CT - She has travelled as a choreographer, judge, and teacher nationally and internationally including performances in London, Germany, & South Africa. Castro is a graduate of California Institute of the Arts where she studied under Glen Eddy of Nederlands Dans Theatre and Andre Tyson from Ailey Company. She was a principal dancer of the renowned company, Urban Bush Women for four years, and won the 2016 Run The Night competition at Highline Ballroom and placed 2nd in 2017 with her newly found all female percussive trio Soles of Duende.  A “flinty” Anita in an “atomic” performance of West Side Story at the Glimmerglass Festival (NYT ‘18) , this past Spring Amanda performed for over 100,000+ audience members in the role of Anita in West Side Story at Lyric Opera of Chicago. She has worked alongside Julio Monge, Jared Grimes, Ayodele Casel, Jason Bernard, Andrew Nemr, and Nick Kenkel. She has danced at Radio City, Hammerstein Ballroom, The Kennedy Center, The John Anson Ford Theatre, and many more. Michael Russotto (R.F. Simpson) is delighted to return to Olney Theatre Center. Previous Olney credits include Reverend Parris in The Crucible, Lionel in Bakersfield Mist, Mr. Dussel in The Diary of Anne Frank, Richard in Hay Fever, and Neville in Neville’s Island. Most recently, Michael played Murray in Junk at Arena Stage, holdout Juror # 3 in the Ford’s Theatre production of Twelve Angry Men, and Alex in Heisenberg at Signature Theatre. He is a member of the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, where he has performed in such productions as The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, A Bright New Boise, Lenny and Lou, and She Stoops to Comedy. Other regional credits include shows at Cleveland Play House, Round House Theatre, The Folger Shakespeare Theatre, Theater J, Rep Stage, and The Kennedy Center.  His work in Washington has earned him Helen Hayes Award Nominations in several categories.  Film and television work includes, The Battle of Bloody Lane, Death of a Nation, and Playing Through.  Michael can be heard on the L.A. He is the head of the set design MFA program at The University of Maryland.

Rosemary Pardee (Costume Designer) is delighted to be returning home to Olney Theatre Center where she was the resident costume designer from 1987 until 1999. A member of United Scenic Artists, Ms. Pardee’s career has spanned over 40 years and more than 500 productions, and has included artistic associations with dozens of theatre and film companies. In the Washington, DC region, her work has been seen at Arena Stage, The National Theatre, Folger Theatre, Round House Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, the Smithsonian Institution, and The Kennedy Center, where she was a member of the artistic team for the award-winning Sondheim Celebration. A nine-time nominee and recipient of the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Costume Design, Ms. Pardee has served on the Washington Theatre Society’s Board of Directors and was recently recognized as one of the outstanding women in American Theatre by Stage Directions Magazine.

Andrew F. Griffin (Lighting Designer) returns to Olney Theatre where he has previously designed The Producers, Avenue Q, A Chorus Line, and You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. Andrew’s recent New York credits include: Goldstein (Off-Broadway, Actors Temple), The War Boys (Access Theatre), Lucie Pohl: Hi Hitler!, (Cherry Lane) and Midsummer (TiltYard).  His regional collaborations include: Asolo Rep, Two River Theatre, Yale Rep, Folger Theatre, Le Petite Theatre du Vieux Carre, Delaware Theatre Company, Woolly Mammoth, Theatre J, Signature Theatre, Synetic Theatre, and others. Andrew’s work has been recognized with two Helen Hayes Awards and two Big Easy Awards. He is a proud member of USA 829, and a graduate of the Yale School of Drama.
